White on the outside to reflect the light and reduce heat transfer, and black underneath to absorb heat and light to assist with fermentation. All covers are UV-stabilised for New Zealand conditions and are guaranteed for a minimum 12 months in the field from failure due to UV degradation. Master rolls feature metre marks for convenience.
